Project Archive

The completion of the first part of the project to improve access, conservation, signage, education and information at Ridge Wood was marked with a launch in June 2004. It is easy to forget how the huge stones that form mounts for the information panels got to site to mark the occasion. They came from Barnhill Quarry and were moved there by Hansons. These pictures show the process:
